New blacklisting regulations now in force

Overview

New regulations took effect yesterday which outlaw the compiling and use of trade union blacklists (The Employment Relations Act 1999 (Blacklists) Regulations 2010).

The regulations also aim to stop trade union members and activists being denied employment, dismissed or subject to a detriment for a reason related to blacklisting information.
