Social media – new laws for new attitudes

Overview

Social media, such Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, has become a pervasive and important part of everyday life. This research study from DLA Piper and YouGov surveyed over 2000 respondents to establish how internet users' attitudes and understanding of their legal responsibilities have changed over the last few years.

The results provide an insight into the British public's use of social media, as well as their views on how the law should apply to this increasingly ubiquitous medium. The following report sets out the findings of this research, as well as the advice and opinion from a variety of digital media experts.
