UAE law firm Hadef & Partners’ What is the legal state of the Dubai real estate market report assesses the views on the legal status of the real estate market in Dubai from over 500 respondees, identifying actions that address the issues they highlight to assist the recovery of the market.
Key themes emerging from the survey include that many respondents feel the current laws and regulations are ‘developer friendly’, and that an increased awareness of the needs of demand-generating participants was required.
The survey also highlights the need for enhanced communication and awareness of current laws and regulations, and a feeling that a coordinated approach would enhance the opportunity for market recovery.
