The Löfstedt Report on health and safety legislation was recently issued, along with the Government's response to it. Containing six key recommendations, the Löfstedt Report aims to streamline and consolidate legislation, redirect enforcement to businesses where the risk is greatest and rebalance the civil justice system, while still ensuring, and progressing, health and safety outcomes.
