Overview
This briefing, a follow up to a previous Herbert Smith briefing of 13 May, considers the main proposals on corporate and business taxes (including some of the changes that would affect key individuals in a business) as published today in the Coalition's ‘Programme for Government’.
The Coalition wants to reform the UK tax system so that it is 'more competitive, simpler, greener and fairer' and that the tax framework more accurately reflects the 'values' of the Government.
