Overview
The first National Infrastructure Plan for the UK has been published by the Coalition Government.
The Plan describes the requirement for £200bn of infrastructure expenditure in key sectors such as energy, water, transport and communications over the next five years; and considers how and at what cost this can be funded, and the major issues arising in ensuring that it is delivered.
UK law firm Wragge & Co's Public Law & Regulation team looks at what the National Infrastructure Plan says, and what it means.
