This article from Harney Westwood & Riegels looks at some of the different remedies available in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) to track down and recover assets, and how BVI courts have adapted these age-old remedies to the 21st century.

The briefing provides information about how a victim can obtain information about assets based on the jurisdiction in Norwich Pharmacal v Customs and Excise Commissioners [1974].

A Norwich Pharmacal Order is an equitable remedy wherein an innocent third party had information relating to unlawful conduct, a court could compel them to assist the person suffering damage by giving them that information.
