Amid a relatively quiet M&A market, we secured roles on a number of the big ticket transactions that came to market as well as a number that, for various reasons, did not proceed. Our well-established UK M&A team and industry teams were an integral part of our success as well as our growing international network, which originated a number of our headline M&A deals.

Our mandate on the Orange-T-Mobile merger in the UK, one of the most high profile deals of the year and one which created the number one player in the UK mobile market, arose out of our Paris office’s relationship with Orange’s parent company France Télécom.
