Overview
In recent times, changes in alternative billing arrangements, process efficiency and service delivery have been critical for law firms’ survival. The sector is continuing to grapple with new technologies, outsourcing and supply chain issues, and as seen in other professional services organisations, these issues will play a key role in the future of the legal profession.
This report supports the view that technology alone cannot resolve the quality, value and transparency challenges faced by in-house teams. Law firms also must be careful about how changes to their delivery are positioned with their clients.
This report, which offers a new perspective on the gap analysis between the views of general counsel, managing partners and marketing directors, is compiled from data from 124 of the UK’s most prominent GCs and legal directors, 57 managing partners and 18 marketing directors from leading law firms.
