Overview
This survey collates, displays and analyses the views of 101 private sector professionals specialising in healthcare. By comparing the results with the previous year's, the survey illustrates how opinions have evolved on the Government’s handling of the Health & Social Care Bill as well as wider healthcare issues.
The themes emerging from this year’s survey results may not come as a surprise: disappointment over Government’s handling of the Health & Social Care Bill, lack of confidence in short to medium term opportunities for growth in the sector and widespread uncertainty in relation to the final shape of legislative reform in both health and social care.
However, while it is difficult to predict what will happen next in the political landscape of healthcare reform, the survey outlines the reasons to be cautiously optimistic about the prospects for growth in the healthcare industry over the next few years.
