London has been and remains the foremost centre for legal services, particularly for the resolution of international disputes. English law, English practitioners and the distinct English process for resolving disputes retain their high status and reputation.
London as an international centre of dispute resolution, however, has come under increasing competition from other centres such as Paris and Stockholm in Europe, New York in the US and the main financial centres in the Far East.
