Financial Ombudsman Services (FOS): The judgment in Andrews v SBJ Benefit Consultants [2010] confirms that a claimant who accepts a final decision from the FOS cannot then bring a court claim for any additional loss.
Mortgage regulation update: The Treasury announced a package of measures last week to extend FSA regulation of the mortgage market.
The Bribery Act: The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) confirmed on 31 January 2011 that the implementation of the Bribery Act 2010 would be delayed. The MoJ were due to publish guidance on the Act but failed to do so.
