Employment dispute resolution - marked changes begin in April 2012

Overview

The Government recently unveiled plans to radically overhaul the system for resolving employment disputes, coupled with far-reaching plans to revamp employment tribunals procedures and the laws governing complaints for unfair dismissal, collective redundancies and TUPE transfers.


It is thought that implementing these proposals will increase business confidence and willingness to hire staff; result in fewer employment tribunal claims; and will ultimately save money and resources for government, employers and employees.
