Overview

The European Commission, has consulted on its draft revised guidelines on agreements between competitors. The new guidelines include guidance on the European Commission's approach to actions encouraged by government agencies which may also contravene competition law, a completely new chapter on information exchange between competitors and a heavily amended chapter covering standardisation and standard setting. The final version of the guidelines is expected to be published by the end of the year.
