In this months Cambodia tax advice, DFDL Mekong discusses the following:

• The filling requirements of a company in Cambodia: a company must comply with initial registration requirements before starting operation and with regular filing requirements during the course of its operation.

• Double taxation agreements: until now, Cambodia did not conclude any tax treaties. That is not surprising, since income taxation itself is relatively new and the current 'Law on Taxation' has only been in force for less than a decade. But there is definitely an interest, especially from Cambodia’s major trade partners.
