Bankers’ bonuses on the racks again as Government set to clamp down on cronyism

In previous economic downturns, calls for change to executive pay went unheeded. However, this time it looks different - the Government is publicly committed to achieving change. Although the exact details of the proposed measures will not be announced until the spring, it can speculated which of the proposals currently being debated might be adopted, and what they might mean for listed companies and banks.
